Their goal is to provide the best surgical outcomes for each patient.

More About the Pomerance Eye Center

Dr. Glenn Pomerance is the medical director and chief surgeon of Pomerance Eye Center, P.C. Each patient is meticulously evaluated and treated by the physicians and staff to ensure the best surgical outcomes. Pomerance Eye Center is a high-technology, "high-touch" eye care environment with a focus on personalized care and service. Unlike other practices, each patient is seen by the doctor on all pre-operative and post-operative visits, not just minutes before surgery. All refractive surgery is performed on-site, in the state-of-the-art surgical facility.

For LASIK surgery, the Wavelight Allegretto excimer laser system is used. This advanced technology system uses a flying small-spot beam that is just 0.8 mm wide, less than the width of a human hair and guided to its destination by a tracking system that moves faster than the human eye. It is capable of reshaping corneal tissue in very subtle increments. This technology, combined with Dr. Pomerance's surgical skill and experience, provide for excellent outcomes for the patients. The doctors at Pomerance Eye Center also perform no-stitch cataract surgery, glaucoma treatment and surgery, and treatment for diabetes and vascular occlusive disease.

The first step for patients interested in reducing their dependency on glasses or contacts is to schedule a no-cost consultation. Each individual is evaluated by Dr. Pomerance to determine if the ocular health will make the eyes good candidates for Laser Vision Correction.
